Our school uniform consists of:

Preschool (Foundation Stage 1)

Uniform for our youngest pupils is optional. However, a blue sweatshirt with the school logo is available for purchase.

EYFS to Year 6:

• White shirt or polo shirt

• Bottle green jumper or cardigan

• Tie (bottle green and silver) - optional

• Grey skirt / grey trousers / grey shorts / bottle green dress or playsuit

• Black shoes or trainers (plain, without logos or coloured features)

PE Kit

Children at Hallgate come into school in their PE on their allocated PE day(s). PE kit consists of:

• House colour t-shirt
• Navy or black shorts (from September 2026 plain black shorts only)
• Trainers (plimsolls may be worn for indoor PE) 
• Sweatshirt / tracksuit bottoms (for colder weather / outdoor PE only) (from September 2026 plain black tracksuit bottoms or slim leg PE track pants, plain black long-sleeved top  or 1/4 zip black PE top (non hooded, unbranded).  The 1/4 zip black PE top will soon be available from Price and Buckland with or without logo, see uniform shop link below.

As part of OPAL, all children need a pair of wellington boots and a waterproof jacket to be kept in school.

We have nearly-new uniform for sale outside the school office.

Please make sure that all items of uniform are clearly labelled with your child's name.
