Welcome to Hallgate Primary School’s website. I hope that browsing through the website will give you a ‘snapshot’ of our school and an insight into the many activities that take place here.
Hallgate is a happy and friendly school at the heart of the community. We pride ourselves on the fact that all children, including those with special needs and special talents, develop, learn and grow. I have had the privilege of being the Head teacher of this fantastic school since February 2016. I hope that you will see from our website the journey that we are on to becoming an outstanding school.
I hope that the website is a useful source of information for parents and pupils.
Please visit us regularly to keep up to date with our events, achievements and activities.

More Information about our School
Hallgate Primary School was built onto the Infant School in 2008 and stands in attractive grounds in the centre of the village opposite St Mary’s Church.
Accommodation in the school includes 11 large purpose built year group teaching areas with separate ICT suite, libraries, community room, pupil changing rooms for PE and two school halls. The class areas are carpeted and well resourced with 21st Century technology. We are proud of our healthy cooked school meal provision. The school has disabled access and three toilets for the disabled.
The outdoor play areas are purpose built with fitness trails, a wild garden with play area and a large playing field.
The school’s philosophy and ethos is shared by all staff who provide a caring and secure environment, in which every child is valued and respected.
