Hallgate Primary School

We are delighted that Ofsted has recognised that Hallgate is a Good school: personal development and welfare is outstanding; our children make good progress and achieve well, and our curriculum is engaging and stimulating and provides lively, exciting experiences. Ofsted were extremely complimentary about our pupils and were particularly impressed with their Super Learner attitudes to all that they do.

We are all very proud of our School and will continue to make it the best we can.

What is Ofsted?

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. We report directly to Parliament and we are independent and impartial. We inspect and regulate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.

Every week, Ofsted carry out hundreds of inspections and regulatory visits throughout England, and publish the results on their website.

Parents & Carers can give their views of our school via Parent View. Your views are important, it helps us to know what you think is going well and what could be improved. Ofsted inspectors will also use these questionnaires to make a decision about our school. The questionnaire can be completed for each school year, so please share your views for the 2020/2021 school year now!
